Building Automation Technician
This role requires a mix of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of various building systems. It's a critical job for ensuring buildings operate efficiently and sustainably.
+ Installation and Programming: Setting up and configuring building automation systems to ensure they function as intended.
+ Maintenance and Repairs: Performing regular checks, troubleshooting issues, and repairing system components to keep everything running smoothly.
+ System Optimization: Calibrating and adjusting settings to improve energy efficiency and system performance.
+ Collaboration: Working with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement upgrades or modifications.
+ User Support: Training building staff on how to use the systems effectively and responding to emergencies when systems fail.
Responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and optimizing building automation systems to ensure efficient and sustainable operations. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, energy management, and IoT integrations, along with hands-on experience with Niagara platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Install and configure building automation systems using Niagara.
+ Program and integrate HVAC, lighting, and security systems for seamless operation.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation systems.
+ Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance optimization.
+ Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system reliability.
