Adecco is recruiting for a **Front Counter Sales / Customer Service Associate** for a client in **Utica, NY.** This is a temp-to-hire position, paying $16-19/hour, depending on experience.

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable team player who’s ready to grow with us in the commercial and industrial construction supply industry.
Job Duties:
+ Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers with a positive, can-do attitude
+ Recommend products and explain their features and benefits with confidence
+ Handle sales transactions, generate quotes, and process orders (including rentals and repairs) using our CRM system
+ Support our outside sales team with follow-ups, order management, and customer communications
+ Stay up to date on new tools, materials, and trends in the construction industry
+ Help keep the shop running smoothly—pitch in with stocking shelves, picking orders, and keeping things organized
+ Represent our company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset
Qualifications:
+ Prior sales or customer service experience preferred
+ Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with customers
+ Detail-oriented, organized, and great at multitasking
+ Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
+ Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning new systems
+ High school diploma required; college degree a plus
+ Interest in the construction or industrial supply space is a big bonus!
**Pay Details:** $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
