The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the TEBG Global Capability Development leader you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

+ Lead specific capability and development initiatives with engagement and sponsorship from leadership; Includes global mentoring, BG specific leadership programs, and skill development initiatives.

+ Identify new capability and development programs or initiatives needed. Develop curricula tied to the development objectives and drive the planning, communication, and execution of these programs.

+ Maintain capability and development content by working with subject matter experts and other functional areas across 3M.

+ Assess impact and success of programs; measure and regularly report results for on-going process improvement.

+ Facilitate program and initiative delivery methods to coordinate appropriate technologies as well as promote and encourage reach to broader, global audiences.

+ Lead the business group US Internship program, in partnership with Talent Acquisition and respective hiring managers.

+ Additional implementation of Enterprise-wide programs into the business group as appropriate.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

+ Seven (7) years of Human Resources or Training and Development experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

+ Strong communication skills

+ Demonstrates solid persuasion skills and ability to leverage a diversity of perspectives

+ Ability to create solutions for complex problems

+ Demonstrated passion for people development

Work location:

+ Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 3 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: Not authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
