Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, supporting the Workplace Safety System, providing strategic direction, and driving diversity and inclusion efforts. Responsibilities
+ Act as a Safety Ambassador, supporting the Workplace Safety System.
+ Consult on initiatives within the People element of the Business Plan Deployment (BPD) process and provide strategic direction for the plant.
+ Support Global Manufacturing System (GMS) and People Involvement (PI) implementation as needed.
+ Develop local negotiation strategies and oversee the administration of local labor agreements.
+ Ensure proper oversight on culture and people for the site, including compliance with laws and policies and proactive focus on employee issues.
+ Plan and execute Talent Management and Progression/Succession reviews.
+ Utilize data analytics to drive decisions related to talent, negotiations, and staffing strategies.
+ Drive diversity and inclusion strategies and efforts.
+ Conduct training sessions on Ethics, Labor Relations, HR policies, Leadership, and other relevant topics.
+ Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employees.
+ Participate in the interview and selection process for new employees and leadership positions.
+ Maintain effective working relationships with management, union representatives, central staffs, and external parties.
+ Advise and counsel management on personnel issues.
+ Stay updated on government legislation pertaining to personnel and employment policies and ensure conformance.
+ Provide direction to employees in resolving problems related to benefits and company policies.
+ Build sustainable partnerships with local community organizations.
+ Work with plant leadership to develop initiatives and action plans to increase employee engagement.
+ Administer local salaried employee performance review procedures and employment-related policies.
+ Execute compensation planning and associated programs to support the pay-for-performance philosophy.
+ Collaborate with functional partners in the administration of Health/Medical and Security services for the plant.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in human resources, employee relations, and human resource management.
+ Experience with Workday HRIS.
+ Ability to teach and develop the organization in the field of expertise.
+ Experience supporting large manufacturing sites with a 2,000+ employee base.
+ Strong change management experience.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Union experience.
+ Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of applicable Human Resources/Labor Relations experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
+ 4+ years of experience as a People Leader/Manager.
+ 4+ years of experience in Labor Relations including contract administration, negotiations, and grievance resolution.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
+ Strong data analytics capability, with comfort using data to tell stories.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $73.00/hr.
