    Summary:

    The IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.

    + Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.

    + Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.

    + Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.

    + May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.

    + May serve as project leader for specific projects.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Publish transactional data from appropriate sources into the event hub

    + Producing BAI files for existing and new customers

    + Provide both business hour and after hour support for responsible applications

    + Maintain updates to existing tables to provide information such as holidays, BAI code translations, etc

    + Maintain and create documentation for existing and new programs

    + Maintain data in non production environments that can be used by other groups for testing needs

    + Work with other teams to ensure the appropriate data is provided to both internal and external customers for information reporting

    + Work with minimal supervision and support

    + Provides understanding of business impact when issues occur or changes are needed to existing processes

    + Assist the business with research into BAI issues or questions for external customers

    + Research, design, and implement improvements to existing processes and programs

    + Ensure programs are following Huntington standards and best practices

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + 2+ years of treasury management banking experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2+ years knowledge and experience with IBM MQ (Message Queueing)

    + Experience in working in an Agile environment

    + 10+ years experience in all the following program languages - COBOL, PL/SQL, JCL, CICS

    + 5+ years experience working with DB2

    + Experience working with IBM Z/OS

    + Knowledge of BAI standards

    + Experience in working with reading and creating BAI files

    + Experience using ChangeMan for release management

    + Experience using IBM Query Management Facility (QMF)

    + Experience using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for Agile user story management

    + Experience using ServiceNow for incident, change management, and work request task

    + Experience working with SailPoint for entitlement and NUID management

    + Experience using CyberArk for password management

    + Experience using Zeke for scheduling management

    + Microsoft Office experience

    + Experience working in multi-platform environment

    + Ability to balance both development and support roles

    + Experience in working on projects that involve business segments

    + Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills

    + Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups
