• Patient Access Specialist - Wood River Part-Time

    Overview

     

    At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.

     

    This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering a **St. Luke’s Wood River hospital or clinic.** This important role supportsexceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).

     

    **Wage:** ~$18-$22 (depending on experience)

    What you can expect from this role:

    + Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients

    + Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates

    + Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows

    + Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

    + Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
