**Location** : Fremont, CA
**Shift:** 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:00PM-10:30PM
**Type** : Contract
**Pay** : $20.00/hr. - $23.00/hr. (depending on experience)
Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate will execute routine unit operations in the Manufacturing Assembly and Packaging department within a multi-product, GMP-regulated facility. Working under limited supervision, this role supports the manufacturing of drug products by performing assigned tasks, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining compliance with company policies and cGMP standards.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Assist with setting up of automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment including autoinjector assembly, pre-filled syringe assembly, and tabletop machinery.
+ Support minor equipment repairs, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
+ Retrieve components and equipment from storage and ensure materials are stocked before operations begin.
+ Perform product and component transfers within assembly and packaging areas and CNC zones.
+ Accurately complete controlled documents such as batch records, logbooks, and SOP attachments.
+ Support production cleaning procedures including equipment removal, sanitization, and waste disposal.
+ Participate in visual inspection and filling operations as needed.
+ Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs and escalate issues to supervisors as appropriate.
+ Maintain 5S standards and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
+ Adhere to all safety standards and report unsafe conditions promptly.
**Required Qualifications** :
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Associate/Bachelor’s Degree or biotech vocational training preferred.
+ 1-2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated industry preferred.
+ Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing is strongly preferred.
