We would love to have you join our Environmental team today. We are looking to grow our team in multiple facets; environmental compliance as well as site investigation/remediation. The successful candidate will manage environmental remediation projects under the guidance of a senior engineer. In this position, the new team member will serve as a local and regional technical resource to support the offices across North Carolina. To be successful in this role you will need to be confident and possess a strong technical background with proven leadership skills. The right candidate will provide support to engineering projects by the drafting of documents such as feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and remedial assessments as well as assist in the design of treatment systems. You will manage projects, prepare reports and other deliverables, and review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company standards.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Support the growth and expansion of existing environmental services

+ Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables

+ Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness

+ Understand the local and regional market

+ Develop strong working relationships with clients

+ Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines

+ Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

+ Minimum of 2+ years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years' related experience.

+ Master’s degree or PhD preferred.

+ Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

+ Certification in field of expertise required.
