    Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist

    **Shift:** PRN – 12 hours, Days/Nights

    About the Role:

    Join our dedicated team at Santa Rosa Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist and make a real impact on patient care. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you’ll provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various settings.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform respiratory procedures under the guidance of Physicians and the Respiratory Director, adhering to NBRC, state regulations, and departmental protocols.

    + Recommend and implement respiratory care procedures and protocols based on patient assessments.

    + Deliver respiratory care in acute, chronic, and emergency scenarios, including managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways.

    + Preferably have experience with Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT).

    + Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and provide other respiratory treatments.

    + Initiate and manage oxygen therapy using devices such as high-flow nasal cannulas and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.

    + Maintain accurate patient care documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    + Associate's degree with a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida.

    + Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications.
