+ Position Summary
+ Responsible for ensuring that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date service and/or billing. Responsible for ensuring that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services and physician practices as required prior to date of service and/or billing.
Primary Position Responsibilities
+ Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
+ Secures precertification.
+ Completes Insurance Notifications.
+ Medical necessity verification.
+ Communicates financial responsibility to patients for scheduled procedures.
Qualifications

+ Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :

+ One year of medical office/hospital registration/patient accounting experience
