Responsibilities
Performs detailed repairs and preventative maintenance on locks, door hardware, cabinets, and furniture. Completes work in accordance with security expectations to maintain key system integrity and confidentiality. Positively interacts with patients, visitors, and co-workers. Possess advanced skills and knowledge of door hardware repair, replacement, installation, and trouble shooting. Possess knowledge of electrified door and cabinet hardware. Possess advanced skills and knowledge in blueprint reading. Functions independently; frequently with minimal direction; adapts to unpredictable situations and stress. Demonstrates efficient utilization of multiple electronic applications, software, and computers. Possess good communication, telephone, and human relation skills to interact with staff, visitors, and patients. Work varied hours which may include days, evening, nights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off. Work is subject to some on-call work after normal hours. Easily adapts from one type of work to another; must organize and prioritize self and work. Utilizes internal and external resources to maintain skill sand competencies. Possess woodworking fabrication and repair experience.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and a one or two year vocational certificate in carpentry or completion of state-approved apprenticeship program in Carpentry, or five years' experience working as a Commercial Carpenter or 5 years’ experience in locks and hardware. Locksmith Certification required or willing to obtain a certification within 6 months depending on position requirements.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $29.94 - $44.97 / hour
