    Responsibilities

    The department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck-Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester is seeking Audiologist to join our division of Audiology.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Provide direct patient care (50% FTE) and conduct clinical and translational research (50% FTE)

    + Oversee the delivery of patient care and partner with a team of clinical audiologists, externs, and audiology assistants.

    + Develop clinical protocols and guide the team on audiology standards and procedures.

    + Offer clinical lectures for the continuing education of audiologists, ENT residents, and fellows.

    + Provide audiology expertise and guidance on intricate clinical cases during multidisciplinary clinics within the otolaryngology department and across the diverse Mayo Clinic departments.

    + Initiate and oversee a translational research program that focuses on clinical applications in audiology, particularly in the areas of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and diagnostic audiology.

    + Collaborate with research faculty and the audiology team to secure extramural funding by developing grant applications.

    Qualifications

    + Ph.D. in audiology or hearing sciences from an accredited institution

    + Licensed or ability to obtain license to practice audiology in the state of Minnesota

    Compensation Detail

     

    The minimum starting salary range for PhD/ Doctoral specialties may range from $127,538 to $240,750. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate may vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
