Description
The candidate will work in a technical role focusing on recording, tracking, and maintaining program data. Responsibilities include processing invoices, data entry, compiling and tracking financial and other program-related data, running database queries, utilizing advanced Excel functionalities, and performing other tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery to program participants. Regular communication with vendors and program participants is a key aspect of the role.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Process program vendor invoices, student reimbursements, and lost time payments promptly and accurately.
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in payment processing for all programs.
+ Prepare spreadsheets for upload into the Financial Edge accounting system.
+ Query databases to ensure payments are made solely for eligible program members.
+ Prepare standard program reports for managers, monthly employer reports, and ad hoc reports for Finance and Digital Strategy teams.
+ Create, maintain, and reconcile payment data for database uploads.
+ Collaborate on ad hoc projects as needed to support organizational goals.
Requirements
Qualifications and Capabilities:
+ Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or program administration role.
+ Ability to multitask effectively while meeting strict deadlines.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with changing circumstances.
+ Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all activities.
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, such as V-lookup, pivot tables, and data analytics.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word at the intermediate level.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Concur; experience with proprietary database systems like Blackbaud Education Edge is a strong plus.
+ Exceptional written, oral, and problem-solving skills.
+ Flexibility regarding work schedules and assignments.
+ Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and a professional demeanor.
+ Prior experience in union or nonprofit environments is preferred.
