Job Title: Associate, Production

Reports To: Manager, Manufacturing

Position Location: Charleston, SC

FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. This is a support role for several areas within manufacturing, specifically the molding and BCM areas. The position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures; and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and stacking raw materials and finished goods.

+ Execute and document quality inspections per SOP.

+ Report defective materials, process, equipment or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

+ Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean and orderly condition.

+ Follow prescribed safety and housekeeping regulations.

+ Fork lift operation.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

+ High School diploma or GED from an accredited learning institution, or equivalent work experience

Experience:

+ 0-1 year prior related experience

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

+ Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

+ Read, analyze and interpret written instruction

+ Maintain production pace and standards

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

+ Basic knowledge of computer skills

+ Certified or become certified in operation of forklift

+ Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with reasonable accommodation

+ Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization

+ Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
