Join our dynamic External Reporting team, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial statements and management reporting. As an External Reporting, Associate within our Finance organization, you will oversee the financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment. You will apply your accounting expertise to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, coordinate quarterly regulatory requirements, and validate balance sheet items. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Apply up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting.
+ Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform quarter-over-quarter variance analytics.
+ Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and SEC reporting teams.
+ Assist in the thorough assessment of issues and outcomes.
+ Clearly communicate financial information to lines of business and flag potential issues.
+ Participate in the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for various regulatory agencies.
+ Adhere to proof and control procedures to ensure accurate reconciliation between regulatory filings, SEC filings, and other published financial reports.
+ Ensure accurate and complete data submission to regulators.
+ Interpret and define regulatory and/or SEC requirements and coordinate internal and external policies.
+ Establish and manage relationships with lines of business and external regulatory agency constituents.
+ Participate in continuous improvement efforts around data quality review and external reporting improvement projects.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ 3+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting.
+ Experience in Product Control or Financial Control
+ Strong skills in time management, problem-solving, written and oral communication.
+ Team player with the ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and businesses.
+ Excellent Excel and computer skills.
+ Strong analytical skills.
+ Extremely strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Project management experience/skills helpful.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
+ Knowledge of SEC reporting/regulatory reporting is a plus.
