Pharmacy Technician at Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.

This position will float to 2 other Providence locations: St Vincent Medical Center in Portland and Newberg Medical Center in Newberg.

Full-Time Day/Variable Shift - Scheduled days of the week will vary and will include days, evenings, nights and weekends.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

Required qualifications:

+ H.S. Diploma or GED

+ Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire Or

+ Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

+ National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable.

+ 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience

Preferred qualifications:

+ Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.

+ 1 year Customer Service experience
