We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will lead and manage various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead month-end/year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

+ Manage and complete accounting tasks and reconciliations. Oversee the completion of the closing checklist.

+ Reconcile bank statements, inventory, and other accounts. Conduct intercompany reconciliations for consolidated entities.

+ Prepare accurate tax filings (sales tax, etc) and collaborate with external parties.

+ Analyze financial performance and key metrics to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.

+ Assist with the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance throughout the year.

+ Handle ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis requests from management and other departments.

+ Manage the preparation and filing of 1099 forms for all applicable vendors.

Education/Prerequisite Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (accounting preferred); MBA or CPA preferred.

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Equipment/Training Knowledge:

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

+ Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and financial modeling tools.

Salary Range: $81,000 - $90,000
