Job Title: CAPSIL Developer

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled CAPSIL Developer to join our growing team! If you have a strong background in mainframe technologies, deep understanding of life insurance operations, and a passion for solving complex business challenges, this is your chance to work on impactful projects that modernize legacy systems and drive innovation in the insurance space.

What You'll Do:

+ Develop, support, and enhance CAPSIL application components.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

+ Work on policy administration systems and batch processing jobs in a mainframe environment.

+ Analyze and troubleshoot complex business problems using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.

+ Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of applications in production.

+ Support integration with external systems and ensure seamless data processing.

What We’re Looking For:

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in CAPSIL application development and support.

+ Strong domain knowledge in life insurance products and operations.

+ Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS on IBM Mainframe.

+ Experience in batch processing and policy administration systems.

+ Ability to understand and optimize mainframe data structures.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice to Have:

+ Experience with modernization projects (e.g., Guidewire, LifeSys, or other digital platforms).

+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.

+ Knowledge of SQL, DB2, and integration strategies with external systems.

+ Exposure to testing tools and release management processes.
