You’ll play a key role in our software delivery lifecycle, working closely with both functional QA and development teams to build, execute, and maintain robust automated test suites for our Guidewire-based applications. If you thrive on building best‑in‑class automation frameworks and enjoy mentoring others, this is the opportunity for you!

+ Leverage Guidewire Product Functional Skills to validate core insurance workflows.

    + Technical Leadership

+ Provide guidance and code reviews for the automation testing team.

+ Mentor junior team members on test‑automation best practices and frameworks.

    + Collaboration & Analysis

+ Partner with QA Analysts, Business Analysts and Developers to translate functional requirements into detailed test scenarios.

+ Analyze results from automated test runs, report defects in JIRA (or similar), and verify fixes.

    + API & Integration Testing

+ Develop and execute API test suites (REST/SOAP) to ensure end‑to‑end system integrity.

+ Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

    + Process Improvement

+ Continuously research and introduce new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance automation coverage, reliability, and performance.

+ Advocate for test automation best practices across the QA organization.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Mandatory Skills & Experience

+ 3+ years hands‑on experience with Katalon Studio and Selenium WebDriver.

+ Proven experience in Guidewire Product Functional testing (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).

+ Strong background in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or built‑in frameworks.

+ Proficiency in a scripting/programming language (Java, Groovy, or JavaScript).

+ Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

    + Desired Competencies

+ Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

+ Knowledge of performance testing basics (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.

+ Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

+ Impactful Work: Contribute to mission‑critical insurance applications that serve millions of policyholders.

+ Collaborative Culture: Join a cross‑functional, agile team that values knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
