The Facilities Engineering Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for supporting Micron’s internal departments! This is done by functioning as a project leader during design by coordinating, crafting, and documenting equipment installations, remodels, site improvements and renovations coordination with facilities engineers!
Responsibilities:
+ Complete safety training and follow all safety policies.
+ Stop work if conditions are unsafe.
+ Review job hazard analysis for tasks.
+ Follow safety procedures, including PPE and chemical safety.
+ Address safety & quality issues immediately.
+ Report safety concerns within 24 hours.
+ Perform audits and submit safety observations.
+ Identify and reduce potential hazards.
+ Follow organizational change practices.
+ Lead quality improvement initiatives.
+ Review designs for safety and quality.
+ Ensure construction specifications and standards are safe and efficient.
+ Fix systems and share lessons learned.
+ Use project management methods to lead projects.
+ Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Communicate project status to team members.
+ Prepare project scope with partner input.
+ Follow organizational change procedures.
+ Address problems and make corrections.
+ Coordinate design meetings and follow-up actions.
+ Maintain project schedules and records.
+ Partner with collaborators to improve metrics.
+ Provide regular status updates on issues and changes.
+ Establish effective relationships with teams.
+ Set performance and development goals.
+ Communicate daily priorities and issues.
+ Guide less experienced team members.
+ Understand and interpret customer needs.
+ Coordinate project completion efficiently.
+ Resolve information and scope change requests.
+ Analyze data to improve performance and save costs.
+ Perform problem analysis and risk assessments.
+ Maintain subject area knowledge.
+ Support TPM culture.
+ Provide accurate working drawings.
+ Organize files and drawings.
+ Design architectural and mechanical systems.
+ Assist with tool placement to minimize costs.
+ Offer technical support to other projects.
+ Incorporate safety in design processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Degree/G.E.D.
+ 5+ years of experience around drafting/design within the industrial or commercial sectors.
+ 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office Applications
+ 1+ years of experience presenting technical information effectively to audiences.
+ 1+ years of experience in project coordination with multi disciplinary teams.
+ Soft Skills - Collaborator, Negotiator, Interpersonal, Analytical, Self Motivated, Detail Oriented, Critical Thinker, Organized
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associates Degree or Certification/Licensing in Drafting/Design or equivalent area of study.
+ 5+ years of experience around drafting/design within the Semiconductor Industry.
+ 3+ years of experience in project coordination with multi disciplinary teams.
