    We seek a purpose-driven and results-oriented Strategic Integration & Communications Marketing Intern to join our marketing and community engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, where every ad, click, and campaign directly impacts lives across our local territory.

     

    At Goodwill of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, we believe in the power of work to change lives. Through the sale of donated goods, we fund 30 mission-based programs and services that support individuals facing barriers to employment, housing, and stability. From job training, rape crisis services, parenting programs and adult literacy, every effort we make is rooted in a commitment to strengthening lives and communities across Northeast Ohio.

     

    In this role, you'll help develop and implement targeted advertising strategies that support Goodwill's mission, retail promotions, donation drives, and community programs.

    Essential Functions:

    + Collaborate with the marketing team to create, plan, place, and monitor digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

    + Align ad messaging with broader communications efforts that promote mission stories, donation opportunities, and retail initiatives.

    + Assist in audience segmentation and targeting, including donors, shoppers, job seekers, and community partners.

    + Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates, cost per conversion, engagement, and donation impact.

    + Conduct A/B testing on ad creative, messaging, and placement strategies to drive continuous improvement.

    + Assist with community and awareness events

    + Assist with donor data management, archival projects, and other administrative initiatives.

    Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities:

    + Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field.

    + Strong interest in nonprofit work and social impact marketing.

    + Familiarity with advertising platforms like Google Ads or Meta Business Suite.

    + Experience with Google Analytics or similar data visualization tools.

    + Graphic design or content creation skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.

    + Comfortable working with data and measuring campaign performance.

    + Strong writing and communication skills; ability to translate strategy into action.

    + Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment.
