What’s a typical day as a Structural Mechanic III? You’ll be:

+ Performing structural assembly, riveting, and sheet metal work using blueprints and work instructions

+ Installing parts and assemblies with precision and high attention to detail

+ Using tools such as pneumatic drills, countersinks, rivet guns, and shavers

+ Ensuring quality standards are met and completing required documentation

+ Instructing or assisting team members and supporting a collaborative work environment

+ Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following safety and Lean manufacturing practices

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

+ A high school diploma or GED

+ At least **4 years of structural assembly experience** , preferably in aerospace or heavy manufacturing

+ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

+ Experience working with precision tools and close-tolerance structures

+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces

+ Flexibility to work the **1st shift (4:45am – 3:15pm)** and occasional overtime

Bonus experience that’s nice to have:

+ Familiarity with Solumina or SmarTeam systems

+ Q-stamp certification

+ Composite material handling or fabrication experience
