    This dynamic role will be responsible for managing 7-Eleven’s income tax compliance function. This role includes overseeing the US federal, multi-state, Canada tax return compliance, international tax and audits; assist in tax planning and research; support M&A tax due diligence and integration; identify and champion opportunities for improved efficiency in tax department processes. Your key relationships and stakeholders will range from internal customers which include all of finance and operations to external customers which include governmental tax agencies and outside tax advisors.

    Responsibilities:

    + Plans, manages, and reviews all separate & consolidated U.S. federal & multi-state income tax returns and work papers to ensure proper determination of liability, and timely and efficient reporting.

    + Plans, manages, and reviews all international tax responsibilities of the Company

    + Reviews extensions and estimated income tax payments to ensure compliance and maximize cash utilization.

    + Manage income federal, local & international tax audits

    + Monitor legislative changes in US and foreign tax laws that may impact the company’s business and tax positions; keep current with transfer pricing regulations.

    + Perform as lead on special projects as requested by management including but not limited to M&A due diligence and integration support, special transactions, documentation of technical issues, process management, etc.

    + Manage monthly, quarterly and annual franchise & gross receipts filings

    + Lead, develop & mentor an experienced team of 2 senior analysts and 1 tax analyst

    + Collaborate with Internal Audit on SOX compliance initiatives including control management and process improvement

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Education: BA/BS in Accounting/Finance

    + CPA required

    + Masters degree in Accounting or relevant field preferred

    + Experience: 7-10 years of relevant tax experience

    + Extensive background in US federal, state, and international compliance

    + Proficient in tax preparation software preferably Corptax , Microsoft suite, and ERP applications.

    + Proven project management & analytical skills

    + Strong verbal and written communications skills.

     

    Pay: $100,000.00 - $147,500.00 Annual
