Summary:
Join Meta as our Global Travel & Expense Director, and help lead the strategic direction of our Travel, Expense and Cards Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Meta's travel and expense strategy, policies and operations ensuring we have the appropriate processes, controls, systems and vendors in place to meet our employee and business needs. This role will lead a global team managing and controlling all aspects of travel and expense operations within the compliance of company policies, internal controls, and industry standards. As part of our Meta Business Services organization you will help shape the future of finance.We are seeking an experienced and adaptable leader with proven expertise in global travel and expense management. This is a high profile role, requiring experience in collaborating, partnering and communicating at all levels internally and externally. You will have experience in defining strategy and driving transformation while leading the team in the delivery of day to day operations.
Required Skills:
Director, Global Travel & Expense Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a high-performing global travel and expense team
2. Develop and implement comprehensive Travel & Expense strategies that align with Meta’s objectives
3. Manage all aspects of the global travel program, ensuring effective travel operations, quality assurance and supplier management processes and systems in place to comply with industry regulations and company policies
4. Manage all aspects of our global expense and card management operations, ensuring we have the appropriate policies, processes, systems and controls in place to meet our business objectives
5. Manage all travel and expense supplier and vendor relationships. Responsible for oversight and optimization of these relationships to ensure they can effectively support the delivery our travel and expense strategy and operations.
6. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance travel and expense policies, processes, operations and systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional business partners such as engineering, people operations, payroll, accounting, compliance, financial planning & analysis, employment tax and legal, security and others.
7. Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships, enabling the effective communication and integration of travel and expense policies and operations across the Company
8. Maintain an effective quality assurance environment ensuring that we have robust monitoring of our travel and expense management operations in place to ensure compliance with controls and policies
9. Implement key reporting and metrics to monitor compliance, operational efficiency and quality of service
Minimum Qualifications:

10. Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Travel or related field
11. 12+ years of multi-national global experience, with experience in the management and delivery of travel and expense operations at scale
12. Change management experience and experience in iterative process and technology development and project deployment
13. 8+ years in a leadership role
14. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with proven experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
15. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
16. Proven track record of managing and developing a high-performance team, with experience leading and managing a global team
17. Proven analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
18. Experience with Travel & Expense tool implementations, enhancements, and SOX requirements
Public Compensation:
$205,000/year to $271,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
