Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible to serve as an analyst supporting system level Treasury Department – Debt/Investor Relations Team. Moreover, the position utilizes a variety of analytic and strategic corporate finance concepts and displays well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. This position will interact with other Treasury functional areas over time which includes Investment Management, Cash Operations, Risk & Compliance and Strategic Finance. Lastly, this position will provide support for other Treasury Department projects and personnel as needed.
The Debt team is responsible for the Intercompany Loan Program (“ICLP”) and the centralized debt program that totals approximately $7 billion in bonds and includes short and long-term debt. Duties include all aspects of the administration of the ICLP program, provide support for new bond issuances and ongoing bond compliance monitoring, monitor swap performance, support relationships with investment and commercial lending bankers, administration of the ICLP and various periodic recurring duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs various duties and responsibilities within Debt Management & Investor Relations including the following:
+ Prepare transfer payment & summary forms and track debt and swap related payments
+ Administer ICLP schedule and prepare summary transfer payment form. Assist with intercompany loan issuance and repayment
+ Prepare Interest Rate Forecast
+ Covenant compliance for all outstanding bonds
+ Post-issuance compliance and IRS Form 990 Schedule K
+ Capital Expenditures Analysis – Work with System Office Finance team and Ministries to obtain capital expenditure related reports and data for purpose of analyzing and reviewing eligible capital expenditures for tax-exempt bond financing
+ Vendor Invoices - Prepare and code vouchers and keep track of corresponding payments pertaining to incoming vendor invoices
+ Support year-end audit and collaborate with various finance teams
+ Support leadership with tasks related to investor relations presentations
+ Assist with rating agencies meeting logistics preparation and follow up
+ Assist with special projects
Serve as backup for other Treasury Analyst positions and provide cross-training as needed.
Maintain comprehensive files and records of transactions. Works with other Treasury staff to ensure access to accurate and complete information for the department. Responds timely to requests for information.
Serves as additional resource for Treasury process improvement opportunities to streamline processes, reduce or eliminate duplicative procedures.
Conducts special projects as assigned by Treasury Leadership or other senior finance executives.
Ensures the confidentiality of all communications, information and documents as appropriate.
Develops and conducts comparative analysis and forecasting of data. Maintains applicable records, databases, and documentation. Prepares and generates ad-hoc, special and scheduled reports, summaries, statements and forms. Assists in the administration of various program services. Develops and maintains procedures documentation for position responsibilities.
Understands and ensures compliance with and internal controls are maintained relative to regulatory and agency requirements.
Provides support to various committees. Serves as a resource to internal departments and external agencies, organizations and groups obtaining and exchanging information. Respond to questions and requests as needed.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a broad-based knowledge of financial and banking concepts and their application, typically obtained through a combination of a bachelor’s degree with a Business major and/or a Certified Public Accountant Certification and a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a financial environment. Prior experience in treasury operations, investment management, debt management, capital markets and/or cash operations is preferred. Previous project management experience preferred. MBA and/or certification as a Certified Treasury Professional is desirable.
Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, databases and electronic communications are essential; experience with Treasury workstations is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to effectively set and organize work priorities and adapt them to changing requirements, make sound independent decisions, manage deadlines, work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects, and work with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.
Must be able to travel as needed, which may include occasional site visits to RHMs and Affiliates, depending on the requirements of the initiatives/projects.
