Day, afternoon/evening and overnight shifts available

At Pitt Mercy, we support individuals with **Intellectual Disabilities** and/or **Serious Mental Illness** to live fulfilling, independent lives in a community setting. As a **Direct Service Professional** , you'll be a key member of our **Interdisciplinary Team** , helping to shape and implement personalized care plans.
What You'll Do:
+ Be a daily support system – offering encouragement, guidance, and respect
+ Assist with medication management and daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, cleaning, budgeting, etc.)
+ Offer supportive counseling and help individuals connect with community resources
+ Teach essential apartment/tenant skills to promote safe, independent living
+ Address concerns with compassion and care, aiming for real resolution
+ Ensure safe transport using an agency vehicle
+ Work as a team to help individuals thrive
We’re Looking For:
+ A caring heart and problem-solving mindset
+ Willingness to support others with dignity and patience
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
+ Ability to safely operate an agency vehicle
+ Some knowledge of medication purposes, dosages, and side effects is a plus

**Education, Qualifications, Licensure and Experience Required:** Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 1 Year of direct care experience.
