Starting Hourly Pay: $20.00
Status: Part-Time
Work Performed:
The In-House Audio Visual Technician for banquets and events will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
+ Manages audio-visual equipment for banquets and events for multipurpose rooms, general floor conference rooms, and other meeting spaces and adapts to event changes
+ Understand audio prepping, rigging, power system capabilities, and general usage.
+ Ensure all sets and strikes are completed according to Banquet Event Orders
+ Test cables, audio-visual equipment, perform sound checks
+ Set up and breakdown equipment per Banquet Event Order instructions, including audio-visual equipment, and all other event provisions;
+ Operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, projectors, laptops, speakers, microphones, and lighting
+ Ensure proper functioning of cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays in all designated areas
+ Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
+ Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is reported to management
+ Ensure equipment is secure from theft/damage
+ Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests;
+ Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and
+ Any other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications and Experience:
Knowledge of network connectivity, digital signal flow, troubleshooting systems, and equipment
6 months of Audio Video Services for medium to large groups
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safety certificate or complete training during the initial 90 days.
Alcohol certification or complete training during the initial 90 days.
Physical:
Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend and squat repeatedly Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
