Description
As a member of the Talent Management Department, the Partner Recruitment Assistant works closely with the Partner Recruitment Team on matters pertaining to the partner hiring process, new attorney onboarding and orientation, and partner integration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Track and update candidate statuses in the applicant tracking system as candidates move through the submission and interview process.
+ Update supporting documentation in applications systems as needed, such as bar status documentation, resumes, and offer letters.
+ Manage logistics for partner interviews firmwide, including reserving conference rooms, sending calendar appointments, creating interview materials, greeting candidates, and helping to ensure video conferences launch successfully.
+ Coordinate logistics and assist with administrative tasks for new attorney orientation including scheduling and ensuring the program runs smoothly.
+ Facilitate administrative tasks related to the onboarding, orientation, and integration of new attorneys to the Firm.
+ Maintain various spreadsheets and files related to attorney interviews, onboarding, orientation, and integration processes.
+ Generate reports and maintain accurate recruitment data.
+ Process background checks for all attorney hires.
+ Maintain search firm agreements and handle processing invoice payments.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Assist with other miscellaneous projects/events.
+ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Education:
+ Bachelor's Degree (recent college graduates with 1-2 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply). Prior work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
+ 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional setting, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
+ Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong administrative skills (typing, phone manners, knowledge to answer basic questions about firm procedure, etc.).
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong computer skills to manage various candidate tracking and budget spreadsheets and databases.
+ Ability to interact professionally and effectively with attorneys and business professionals at all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to work well in a team environment.
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, handle multiple job responsibilities/projects and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work well under pressure.
+ Overtime may be required during periods of high workload.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
VISUAL ACUITY
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
