Description
As a member of the Talent Management Department, the Partner Recruitment Coordinator works closely with the Partner Recruitment Team on matters pertaining to the partner hiring process, new attorney onboarding and orientation, and partner integration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Maintain working relationships with search firms across the country to identify lateral partner candidates.
+ Work closely with Director of Recruitment, Strategic Growth Committee, and other Firm leaders to move candidates through the recruitment process.
+ Communicate regularly with the Strategic Growth Committee and partners at the Firm about the status of interviewing candidates.
+ Monitor steps of the recruitment process include database maintenance and communication with search firms and candidates, etc.
+ Track candidate statuses through the applicant tracking system and various spreadsheets.
+ Coordinate the interview process.
+ Ensure the completion of all new hire due diligence including lateral partner questionnaire, client list, verification of bar standing, and completion of background check.
+ Assist with the offer process and the new attorney’s transition to the firm.
+ Delegate tasks to Partner Recruitment Assistant when needed.
+ Support the coordination and administrative tasks related to the onboarding, orientation, and integration of new attorneys to the Firm.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Assist with other miscellaneous projects/events.
+ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Experience:
+ Two to four years of recruitment experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
+ Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, viDesktop, UKG a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
+ Outstanding organizational and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously under strict time constraints.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
+ Ability to interact professionally and effectively with partners, non-partner lawyers, and staff at all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to work overtime will be required during periods of high workload.
+ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel offsite to areas not accessible by public transportation required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
VISUAL ACUITY
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
