    Summary

    Responsible and accountable for assuring the delivery of safe transport to patients of all ages by using safe driving skills, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Moves patients between acute and post acute facilities as needed for the level of care that the patient is targeted for. Responsible for movement, loading and transporting our patients to facilities in and outside of Parkview Health across our region, dependent on referral location.

    Education

    High school diploma or GED required.

     

    Licensure/Certification

     

    CPR required. Valid driver’s license.

    Other Qualifications

    Must meet insurability requirements under Parkview Health vehicle and liability insurance policies, without a "driver exclusion", and/ or other insurance modifications and/or high risk classification. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Meets the physical requirements of the position. Must be able to lift 100 pounds and assist with 300 pounds
