SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging faculty member to join the School of Applied Technologies starting in August for the Fall 2025 semester.

Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track faculty member in the School of Applied Technologies and Architecture (https://www.delhi.edu/academics/schools/school-of-applied-technologies-and-architecture.php) , teaching Refrigeration and Air Conditioning courses. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of both domestic and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This should include a strong knowledge of electrical systems and controls used throughout the industry.

Faculty members in our HVAC program are responsible for the following:

Program Development

+ Participate in annual systematic assessment of the program

+ Participate in analyzing data and recommending curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary

Teaching Responsibilities

+ Provide evidence-based instruction following the policies set forth by the College

+ Provide hands-on, lab-based instruction on various construction methods, including job site safety and safe operation of tools and equipment

+ Post and keep regular office hours for the convenience of students

+ Participate in the assessment of course, student learning, and program outcomes

+ Incorporate student service-learning opportunities

Advisement

+ Assist in advisement of students

+ Guide and counsel students toward personal and career development

+ Track student's completion of progression requirements

Academic & Organization Commitment

+ Serve on campus committees

+ Mentoring Adjunct Faculty

+ Participate in full and part-time faculty meetings

+ Participate in accreditation reviews and reports

+ Engage in the academic and organizational life of the college

+ Pursue scholarly interests

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

+ Associate's degree in a related field and 3 years of professional experience in a related field

+ OR High School Diploma and 10 years in a related field (would require the applicant to attain an Associate Degree within 6 years)

+ EPA 608 Certification

+ Driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field with three years of professional experience in a related field

+ Seven or more years of professional experience in a related field

+ Experience in teaching or working with young adults

+ Demonstrated ability to teach diverse populations

+ Understanding the value of civic engagement

Additional Information:

+ Salary: $48,000

+ This is a 10-month academic year, tenure track position
