    Job Overview:

    The Administrative Assistant supports the hospital's nursing education department by supporting the department's operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating events, maintaining records, and assisting with various educational activities.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High school diploma

    + Previous administrative experience preferred

    + Proficient computer skills, including Office

    + Strong organizational and time management skills

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full Time

    + Day

    Job Functions:

    + Prioritizes duties and responsibilities and completes them accurately and in a timely fashion

    + Answering phones, creating and updating departmental forms

    + Demonstrates an ability to adapt to changing circumstances related to internal and external factors

    + Provides coverage as required

    + Maintains competence and demonstrates responsible judgment by updating knowledge, referring problems through appropriate channels and observing policies and procedures

    + Orders and maintains practice supplies and equipment

    + Other duties as requested by manager and providers
