    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a top mid-size Minneapolis law firm in search of a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with commercial litigation experience. You will have a strong background in legal research, discovery, document review, and document production, with specific experience in areas such as construction law, contract disputes, shareholder issues, and association disputes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. As a valued team member, you will play an integral role in supporting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct in-depth legal research using tools like Westlaw to obtain relevant case law and statutes.

    + Draft and assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.

    + Manage and review discovery materials, ensuring accurate analysis and proper document production.

    + Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in compliance with court deadlines.

    + Prepare trial materials, including trial exhibits, binders, and witness files, and provide critical support to attorneys during trial preparation.

    + Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, ensuring professional and courteous interaction.

    + Oversee and track case deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.

    + Collaborate closely with attorneys on case strategy, offering updates on case progress and assisting with tactical decisions.

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role, ideally with a focus on commercial litigation.

    + In-depth knowledge of commercial litigation practices, including document review, document production, construction law, contract disputes, shareholder issues, and association disputes.

    + Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Relativity, as well as document review platforms.

    + Familiarity with handling document and contract reviewers.

    + Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise legal documents and reports.

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines effectively.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
