Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience in UKG (formerly UltiPro) to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice. This is a full-time, salaried consulting role designed for experienced professionals who enjoy project variety, client interaction, and the stability of long-term employment—all while staying local to DFW.

As part of our FTEP team, you'll support clients across industries with payroll operations, system transitions, and compliance—bringing immediate value during periods of change or growth.

Responsibilities:

+ Process multi-state payroll using UKG / UltiPro

+ Troubleshoot payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries

+ Maintain compliance with payroll laws and company policies

+ Assist with system implementations or conversions

+ Support audits, reconciliations, and payroll reporting

+ Collaborate with HR, accounting, and IT teams during client engagements

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience

+ Recent experience with UKG / UltiPro is required

+ Knowledge of payroll compliance, taxes, and benefits

+ Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, large datasets)

+ Ability to adapt quickly and work on-site in the DFW area as needed

+ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Requirements
