Description We are looking for a motivated and personable HR Recruiter to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis. This role involves actively engaging with local communities to identify and attract top talent, particularly within the healthcare industry. Based in Riverside, California, this position offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities to attend events and job fairs in the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract candidates with relevant experience, focusing on healthcare roles such as paramedics.
• Attend job fairs, college events, and community gatherings to promote career opportunities and build relationships.
• Utilize social media platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other tools to source and engage potential candidates.
• Foster connections with educational institutions and training programs to identify aspiring professionals.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers.
• Collaborate with the team to identify creative approaches for expanding the talent pool.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates to management.
• Travel within the local region for recruitment events; mileage reimbursement is provided.
• Act as a brand ambassador, sharing the organization's mission and values with prospective candidates. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Office tools, Teams, and social media platforms; familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
• Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of working independently to achieve recruitment goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in HR or related fields is a bonus.
• Ability to travel locally for recruitment events and maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends.
• Comfortable presenting opportunities and coaching candidates on career pathways.
