Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records in a timely manner
• Handle the verification of expense reports and reconciling them with account balances and other office records
• Manage vendor payments which may include verification of federal ID numbers, review purchase orders, and resolving any discrepancies
• Ensure that outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as necessary
• Assist in maintaining accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions
• Handle the recording and verification of petty cash and its distribution
• Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices
• Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger tasks, and journal entries
• Assist in month-end close activities
• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for accounting activities

Requirements
+ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ CPA or active CPA candidate is highly preferred.
+ Key Responsibilities:
+ Strong expertise in bank reconciliations.
+ Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and related processes.
+ Proficiency in preparing and managing journal entries.
+ Proven ability to perform month-end close procedures efficiently and accurately.
+ Technical Skills:
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
