The Position
The Bureau of Environmental Services is seeking an intern for their Strategy & Integrated Planning group! Applications will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
Job Appointment: Casual
Work Schedule: Flexible hours

Note: These are casual Community Service Aide (CSA II) positions with a maximum of 1,400 hours in a calendar year.
The Systems Analysis and Modeling Support section of the Risk Assessment Division performs engineering/modeling analysis to identify system deficiencies and provide optimal solutions to improve City's Combined, Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater systems.
The Strategy & Integrated Planning Intern, with guidance and under supervision, will:
+ Learn about Hydrology and Hydraulics principles and applications
+ Learn about data collection and manipulation
+ Learn about data quality control and analysis
+ Use Excel for data management
+ Use GIS Application.
