**Position** : Warehouse Associate
**Location** : Medford, Long Island
**Job Type** : Temporary contract
**Compensation** : $18 per hour
**Responsibilities** :
+ **Receiving and Processing** :
+ Unload and unpack incoming shipments.
+ Verify shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
+ Scan and log inventory into the warehouse management system.
+ **Inventory Management** :
+ Store and organize inventory in designated areas.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
+ Identify and report discrepancies or damages.
+ **Order Fulfillment** :
+ Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
+ Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and packaging.
+ Ensure all orders are accurate and shipped on time.
+ **Warehouse Operations** :
+ Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
+ Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
+ **Other Duties** :
+ Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
**Skills and Qualifications** :
+ **Physical Stamina** : Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move heavy objects.
+ **Attention to Detail** : Ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
+ **Organizational Skills** : Keep the workspace clean and efficient.
+ **Basic Math Skills** : Ability to count, weigh, and measure inventory.
+ **Warehouse Equipment Experience** : Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
+ **Teamwork** : Ability to work well with others and contribute to the team’s success.
+ **Safety Awareness** : A strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow them in a fast-paced environment.

**Pay Details:** $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
