What you’ll do as a Power Operator

+ You will operate equipment

+ You will drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on job-site

+ You will perform general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or Supervisor

+ You will follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies

+ You will demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.

+ You will restore grounds and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor.

+ You will perform other duties as necessary.

+ You will travel for storm response on short notice

What you’ll need

+ You are 18 years of age or older

+ You are able to determine voltages and hazards associated with each.

+ You have Six months supervised equipment operation

+ You will read and understand minimum approach distances.

+ You will complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training Program within 90 days of employment.

+ You have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience

+ You are authorized to work in the United States for this company

+ You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

+ You have the willingness to work in a solo and team environment

+ You have experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather

+ You are a self starter

+ You have effective communication skills

+ You are able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed
