Minimum Qualifications:
+ MD/DO
+ Board certified for board eligible in Pediatrics
+ Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date.
Condition of Employment:
+ Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
+ _Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check_

_Preferred Qualifications:_
+ _Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology_
+ _Prescriptive Authority_
+ _Experience and proficiency with electronic medical health record systems_
_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
+ _Knowledge appropriate for individuals completing a three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship_
+ _Ability to complete pediatric pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures_
+ _Pediatric clinical assessment skills_
+ _Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring responsibilities_
+ _Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and verbal_
+ _Exceptional time-management skills (to include managing email and other electronic forms of communication_
+ _Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group_

This is a full time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Children's Hospital Colorado.We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible pulmonologist to be a part of our expanding and dynamic program. - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of an indeterminate number of days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
The section of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine has 54 faculty members (to include Sr., Jr., PhD, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant faculty) and is a multifaceted program, with on-going interests in asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, the pediatric airway and medical education. Our section has a significant research portfolio (clinical, translational, basic science) as well as a robust clinical portfolio with many quality and safety initiatives and expansion projects. Our fellowship program is highly pursued based on our current and historical reputation. The section of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine is currently ranked #6 in the country by US News and World Report, including a #4 national ranking for reputation.
