Minimum Qualifications:

+ MD/DO

+ Board certified for board eligible in Pediatrics

+ Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date.

Condition of Employment:

+ Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado

+ _Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check_

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ _Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology_

+ _Prescriptive Authority_

+ _Experience and proficiency with electronic medical health record systems_

_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

+ _Knowledge appropriate for individuals completing a three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship_

+ _Ability to complete pediatric pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures_

+ _Pediatric clinical assessment skills_

+ _Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring responsibilities_

+ _Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and verbal_

+ _Exceptional time-management skills (to include managing email and other electronic forms of communication_

+ _Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group_

This is a full time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Children's Hospital Colorado.We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible pulmonologist to be a part of our expanding and dynamic program. - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of an indeterminate number of days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

The section of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine has 54 faculty members (to include Sr., Jr., PhD, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant faculty) and is a multifaceted program, with on-going interests in asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, the pediatric airway and medical education. Our section has a significant research portfolio (clinical, translational, basic science) as well as a robust clinical portfolio with many quality and safety initiatives and expansion projects. Our fellowship program is highly pursued based on our current and historical reputation.
