Job Title: Engineering TechnicianJob Description

This role reports into production and seeks higher-level engineering support. The Engineering Technician will engage in high-level assembly and rework of medical devices, along with performing higher-level mechanical testing. No voltage or electrical testing will be involved.

Responsibilities

+ Perform high-level assembly and rework of medical devices

+ Conduct higher-level mechanical testing

+ Follow engineering schematics and blueprints

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components

+ Adhere to work instructions and quality standards

Essential Skills

+ Engineering degree (Associate's or Bachelor's with internship/co-op experience)

+ 5+ years of experience with subassembly

+ 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repair

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with using oscilloscopes

+ Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering principles

Work Environment

This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with higher education to gain additional experience in a medical device environment. The role is suitable for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree, provided they have completed an internship or co-op. The work involves using various mechanical tools and adhering to strict quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
