    Job Title: Inventory Control Technician $22-25

    Job Description

    Ensure inventory accuracy for direct and MRO products through the effective implementation of inventory control processes. Coordinate inventory flow to fulfill production needs and maintain effective communication to facilitate this. Refine policies and procedures related to control of inventory to accommodate ongoing changes in industry-related regulatory requirements. Assure the creation and accuracy of records for material traceability.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive incoming inventory and use vendors' packing slips along with employees' physical counts to achieve an accurate inventory of incoming items.

    + Compare physical inventory to the quantities within ERP, rectify discrepancies.

    + Communicate with logistics companies to determine ETA and drop-off times for all incoming and outgoing freight.

    + Communicate with the Inventory Planner to create and maintain a log for all cancelled, miss-shipped, and past due items that are not to be accepted.

    + Create and update daily inbound freight log containing all P.O. numbers, scheduled pick-ups, and ETAs.

    + Accurately receive items coming back from stores.

    + Collect driver transfer sheets and file them correctly into their store files.

    + Gather box counts for next-day delivery.

    + Handle RMAs ensuring 100% completion and accuracy.

    + Record mis-matched/defective items.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.

    + Proficiency in cycle counts and data entry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, assembly, or production.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The company is engaged exclusively in the design, manufacture, and sale of laboratory instruments and apparatus for testing fuels and conducting chemical reactions and tests under heat and pressure. The products are used for research, quality assurance, production, and teaching in laboratories, pilot plants, and small-scale manufacturing facilities.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
