Job Title: Electrical Team Lead
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Lead to train, and mentor a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical control panel assembly projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate will implement and maintain quality control procedures, provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex electrical systems, and ensure all shop activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Responsibilities
+ Train, and mentor a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
+ Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical control panel assembly projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
+ Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and client expectations.
+ Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex electrical systems, with a focus on 480V components.
+ Ensure all shop activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
+ Manage inventory levels of electrical components and tools, coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years in Electrical Experience within Heavy Industrial Machines.
+ Minimum of 3 years leading a team.
+ Experience working with 480V components and applications.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Journeyman license.
+ Experience in electrical circuit design.
+ Experience in industrial manufacturing and heavy machinery.
+ Experience in panel wiring.
Work Environment
Our company has a great culture, with a team of 40 on-site who treat one another like family. We have a dog-friendly and casual work environment, with a dress code of jeans and closed-toe shoes. The work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. The role involves a mix of desk work (50%) and floor work (50%) in a manufacturing center, with secondary checks of panel wiring work of equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
eligible for medical, dental, and vision and life insurance on the first of the month after 30 days of employment. eligible for 401K with 5% match after 90 days of employment. No vesting period.Basic life insurancePTO accrual, 80 hours first year. 120 hours for second year. 160 hours after third year.
