Housekeeping Utility Porter Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

+ Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators

+ Details rooms, shampoos carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways

+ Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens

+ Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures

+ Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company

+ Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures

+ Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ 1 to 6 months of related experience preferred

+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company

+ Working indoors, continuously standing and walking for a majority of the time

+ Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds

+ Regularly lift, bend/kneel and occasionally working outdoors

+ Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical)
