• USMC Systems Engineer

    Amentum (Dahlgren, VA)


    Amentum is seeking system engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. Schedule is predominantly a standard workday but at times flexibility may be required to support a surge effort or event. Some travel may be required.

    USMC Systems Engineer Responsibilities Include:

    + Supporting multiple USMC weapons systems by working in an Agile environment to identify/develop/validate/test systems requirements, support integration events, and provide consultation to USMC customers and sponsors upon request.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + System Testing, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), and systems requirements development/tracing.

    + Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

    Preferred:

    + Operations, process improvement, model based systems engineering (MBSE).

    + Experience with the USMC, CAC2S, and/or GBAD is a plus.
