Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst role will be responsible for analyzing data and processes to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the retail omni-channel supply chain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, merchandising, and IT, to support data-driven decision-making and optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, distribution and transportation operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the SC Analytics Manager with data and analysis to help drive improvement across the organization
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and transportation costs
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the supply chain and recommend process improvements.
• Support the implementation of supply chain initiatives such as vendor optimization, automation tools, or new logistics strategies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Assist in scenario modeling and impact analysis for promotions, seasonal changes, and new product launches.
• Ensure data integrity in supply chain systems by auditing and validating information regularly.
Education, Experience & Skills:
Minimum education required/preferred, area of study:
• BS/BA or combination of education and experience
Minimum years of relevant experience required:
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or data analysis role, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, relational databases and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with ERP or supply chain management systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional skills/knowledge required include:
• Ability to extract, clean and manipulate data from multiple systems into visualizations for analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets.
