    Job Summary

    Reporting to:PMO Manager

     

    Role Overview:This role serves as a feeder position to a project manager role, providing a pathway for career advancement. This role blends project coordination with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement, supporting streamlined project execution. The individual will support project managers in organizing and executing complex, technical projects while focusing on enhancing efficiency through process documentation, system development, and optimization. This position requires robust organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and technical expertise, all while operating in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates will be quick learners, Excel experts, and adept at data structures, committed to driving efficiency and collaborating across various departments to optimize project outcomes.

    Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination:

    + Support project planning, scheduling, and task coordination.

    + Document and manage project plans, timelines, and status reports.

    + Coordinate meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, and documenting decisions and actions.

    + Support budget management and monitoring of project costs.

    + Support documenting project risks and developing mitigation strategies.

    + Prepare operations reports and perform data analysis.

    + Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of ETCs.

    Continuous Improvement:

    + Assist with process and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

    + Support development and organization of engineering & operations flow, processes, procedures, and documents (work instructions, checklists, forms) to ensure quality and efficiency in department execution.

    + Support development and organization of standards to ensure quality and efficiency in department execution.

    + Contribute to process improvement strategies.

    + Analyze current workflows and recommend improvements.

    Education & Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.

    + 3+ years of experience in leading or supporting projects that directly involved efficiency improvements or process optimization.

    + PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certifications preferred.

    Skills And Qualifications

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    + Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Wrike).

    + Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

    + Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Experience with financial analysis and developing tools to enhance departmental efficiencies.

    + A disciplined, analytic mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

    + High degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

    + Embraces the values of Integrity, Quality, and Servant Leadership.

    Success Metrics:

    + Resource Efficiency: Increase in productivity or output with the same resources across departments.

    + Reduction in Project Duration: Percentage decrease in project completion time.

    + Cost Savings: Quantifiable reduction in project costs through efficiency gains.

    + Quality Improvement: Measurable enhancement in project output quality or consistency.

    + Data Accessibility: Speed and accuracy of data available for decision-making.

     

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is$70,000-$85,000 annually. The salary rate range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
