Position Overview

The **CLS Landscape Technician** is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

+ Cultivate your green career with us!

+ Learn to properly plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, and so much more.

+ Learn to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions.

+ Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs.

+ Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment

+ Maintenance of commercial properties, including mowing of turf, string trimming, and spraying of weed control.

+ Operation of maintenance equipment, such as mowers, Bobcats, trucks, and trailers.

Qualifications

Skills We’re Seeking:

+ Love of the outdoors

+ Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping

+ Preferred: Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID, Pathology, and knowledge of turf or tree physiology

+ Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire

+ Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Preferred: Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement

+ Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law

+ 1+ years of experience, in the Landscape industry, preferred .

+ Experience with lawn mowing equipment, and 2 Cycle equipment preferred.

+ Experience in Landscape Maintenance preferred.
