UPMC Williamsport is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Technologist/Advanced Diagnostic Technologist! This role will work dayshift, typically, 7:30a through 4p. This includes rotating weekends and holidays. Rotating on-call responsibility includes both weekdays and weekends Whether you're an experienced imaging professional or a new graduate eager to gain experience, this could be your opportunity!

This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 with a two-year work commitment.
Performs imaging procedures at an advanced level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of advanced technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
+ Performs or assists Clinical Specialists in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
+ Performs all job responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.
+ Demonstrates competency of specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly. Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions if applicable.
+ Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up-to-date protocols and procedures.
+ Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with the lead and management team.
+ Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
+ Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
+ Assist with the training of staff and student technologists.
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. 2 years Diagnostic experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
