Position Title: Housekeeper　Department: Operations　Reports To: Housekeeping Manager　Classification: Part time, Non-exempt

Compensation: $22.00 an hour

Essential Functions:Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, performs general cleaning throughout the facility. Cleans floors, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing. Cleans and stocks bathrooms. Dusts areas that contain furniture, such as offices. Cleans windows.　Experience/Training/Education:Desirable: At least one-year experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position.Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Knowledge of:Safe work practices.General cleaning procedures.Ability to:Read, write, and speak English.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Work in a team atmosphere.Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.Skill to:Operate radio devices.Operate equipment, scrubbers (riding and walk behind), sweepers (riding), vacuums, etc.　Physical and Environmental Requirements:Position requires walking and standing for most of the shift; may be subject to adverseconditions; may be required to work with hazardous substances; irregular hours may berequired.
